Our choreographer position is perfect for anyone who has ever dreamed of being a dancer in Italy! The position is for those who love directing teams and seeing an entire professional musical production come together! As a choreographer, you will come up with the dance routines for all the musicals and ensure that everyone is rehearsed and ready for opening night!

Work as a Choreographer

In the position of choreographer, you will be creating original dance movements and routines for our performances and productions. You will create dance routines for the entire animation team to follow and learn alongside the designated music and audio tracks for our musicals. You will have the important job of overseeing the entire musical from start to finish including everything from rehearsals to costumes to make sure it is a fantastic musical that the whole family can enjoy!

You will also oversee and direct the dance routines for the smaller family shows each night. It could range from a dance routine for a family trivia show, to a routine for a kids Disney skit. You are flexible in your range of dance styles and you have a patient and understanding teaching style that will make it fun for the whole team to practice and learn your dances.

Do you have what it takes?

  • In possession of a European passport
  • Adventurous, independent, flexible, and enthusiastic
  • Available for at least 1.5 months over March and October
  • 18 Years or older
  • Flexible, energetic, and love having fun!

Your Activities

  • Create dance routines that work with the music and lyrics of a production or performance
  • Read through a script and interpret each song, creating a dance sequence to match the song and interpret the story through dance
  • Experiment with different types of dancers, steps, dances, and placements, testing ideas informally to get feedback from the team
  • Teach the team all the required dance routines to make sure everyone is on the same level and fully prepared for each show
